Upon completing his masters, he moved to NYC, where he got a job on Wall Street. He lived there for about 4 years and then moved to Tokyo with his company. After almost 5 years, he transferred to London in August 2002. Although he has since left that company, he and his family stayed in London. Currently, Brent works for a London-based hedgefund running a Japan equity portfolio. His wife Afsun writes for the Financial Times and they have two lovely little ones, Liam 3.5 years and Charlotte 1.5 years. This picture is from a recent outing in the country, in the spring of 2006.
